Tai Chi

A mind-body program for health and vitality. Practicing the slow, meditative movements of tai chi helps cultivate an alert, yet relaxed state of being while reducing stress-related tension. Class is based on Yang Style Tai Chi.

Qi Workout

The Chinese word, qi, means energy. Gong means work. Together, Qi Gong means breath work, a training method that combines breathing and body movements to enhance the flow of qi through the body. Enhancing the flow of qi helps to rejuvenate our internal organs, keeps our bones strong, and our muscles and ligaments supple.

Family Kung Fu

Family Kung Fu combines elements of fitness and kung fu to help kids and parents build strong, healthy bodies and focused, alert minds. With drills designed to develop the agility of a monkey, the strength of a tiger, the speed of a mantis, the balance of a crane, and the heart of a dragon, Family Kung Fu helps students both big and small establish a self-directed mindset and a timeless commitment to achieve their personal best in all of their endeavors.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 PM CST on Zoom

Intro to Tai Chi and Qi Gong

Originating in China, Qi Gong and Tai Chi are complementary internal disciplines that are based upon the movement of the practitioner’s life force within and around the body. The practice of one, enhances the practice of the other.

Tuesdays at 6:30 PM on Zoom

This class is co-taught with Yao Li and hosted by Inner Space Yoga.

Tai Chi H20

Tai Chi H2O is an adaptation of the Qi Gong / Tai Chi Workout. Classes are held in a pool with water heated to a comfortable 92 degrees. The water provides additional resistance to strengthen and soothe muscles in a low impact environment that protects the joints and serves as a natural safety net for balance.
