Tai Chi & Qi Gong

Beginning Tai Chi and Qi Gong is an opportunity for you to experience a gentle approach to exercise. Class will start with a warm up of joint rotations and qi gong, followed by the introduction and practice of tai chi techniques. The goal is to learn to move with less mental/physical tension and more mind/body awareness. Classes will leave you feeling energized yet calm, ready to face the day with grace and ease.

Beginning Tai Chi And Qi Gong is a low-impact exercise program. Special clothing is not necessary, but athletic shoes and loose fitting pants are recommended.

 
 

Kung Fu Fitness

  • Tuesday at 10:00-11:00am CST on Zoom

  • Thursday at 10:00-11:00am CST on Zoom

Kung Fu Fitness combines upper-body strength training with kung fu kicks, blocks, stances, and hand techniques in a conditioning program designed to enhance your strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Whether you are just beginning to exercise or are looking for a good cross-training method, this class is for you.

Wear loose-fitting pants and athletic shoes. Have light weights and a floor mat handy.

 
 

Beginning Kung Fu (In-person)

  • Saturday at 1:15-2:15pm CST

Beginning Kung Fu combines elements of fitness with kung fu basics to help adults and children build strong, healthy bodies and focused, alert minds. With drills designed from kung fu’s vibrant animal styles, students will develop agility, strength, and balance, as well as a self-directed mindset and a timeless commitment to achieve their personal best.

Beginning Tai Chi + Qi Gong (In-Person)

  • Saturday at 2:15-3:15pm CST

This weekly drop-in, in-person course provides a comprehensive introduction to tai chi and qi gong. Accessible to beginners but valuable for practitioners of all levels.
